Swedish companies in the spotlight at Arab Health

The Middle Eastern region, with its growing population and changing lifestyles, is a significant market for the health care and medicine industry. Export potential for Swedish companies is considered substantial, not at least in Iran, as sanctions has been lifted. 21 Swedish companies, together with Business Sweden, participate at Arab Health in Dubai, 25-28 of January.

Swedish healthcare is known for innovation and high quality, therefore is the largest conference held in the region an opportunity to demonstrate Swedish industry’s latest innovations. The region is experiencing a surge in demand for modern healthcare with a growing need for international cooperation. Moreover, business opportunities are on the rise in Iran after the UN-imposed sanctions are lifted.  

After last year’s MEA summit, which was a huge success, Business Sweden’s work with supporting Swedish companies in building a presence in the region and developing contacts. The objective is to further expand the already extensive collaboration and knowledge exchange.
