Business Sweden is hosting the meeting, which is arranged in conjunction with the State Visit by Brazilian President H.E Dilma Rousseff who are visiting Sweden with a large business delegation consisting of representatives from the Brazilian trade and industry. At the meetings business leaders from respective countries will speak, followed by a panel discussion.
The Brazilian market is one of the largest consumer markets in the world. At the moment significant investments are being made in research and innovation. The investments entail great potential for Swedish companies in a range of different sectors. Sweden and Brazil today have several strategic partnerships concerning trade and investments, bioenergy and biofuels, sustainable development, science, innovation and advanced technology as well as defence. In relation to the purchase of 36 Swedish Gripen aircrafts by Brazil - one of Sweden’s largest export deals in history - there is additional capacity for Swedish industry to further develop trade relations with its Brazilian counterparts.
