Four Swedish startups ready to take on the U.S. venture scene

Four Swedish startups; Localize Direct, Creddly, GuideWall, and iList, have been selected to participate in the US Venture Capital for Swedish startups program!

The week long program takes place next week in New York and San Francisco, and it’s packed with meetings from the local startup and venture capital eco systems.

The program includes individual meetings with a dozen US investors (Greycroft Partners, High Peaks Venture Partners, Genacast Ventures, Insight Venture Partners, and TCV, to name a few), pitch training sessions with David Rose, described as “the Father of Angel Investing in New York”, and meetings with lawyers and fellow entrepreneurs.

The startups will also pitch at events in front of US investors and people from the local startup scenes in both New York and San Francisco. If you are in either of these cities, you are welcome to join us for the events! Please register here for the New York event, or here for the San Francisco event. Vivianne Gillman, head of Business Sweden in New York, is responsible for the program and the key contact should you have any questions.

The program is conducted in partnership with the Consulate General of Sweden in New York, and the Consulate General of Sweden in San Francisco. It is sponsored by SAS, and Your Special Delivery Service. In-kind contributors include: Gust, Nest GSV, K&L Gates, Hanelin of Sweden, Plano & Simple, Tech Lab Innovation Center, and the New York Entrepreneur Business Network.
