What do we expect of you as an Office Manager / Trade Commissioner?

As an Office Manager or Trade Commissioner, you will be responsible for the combined results and management of the office (as Office Manager) or country (as Trade Commissioner). You are responsible for your offices sales but also to set a positive high performance culture in your team.

As an Office Manager/Trade Commissioner you represent interests of Swedish enterprise and Business Sweden in your market. You serve clients and identify where there is new interest and potential. You drive sales and marketing of our service offerings/product portfolio to existing and potential clients, both in Sweden and in the local market, and you also ensure development of business processes and the organisation. You manage, plan and participate in the execution of consulting assignments and you operate from a global perspective to promote the Swedish industry and companies all over the world.

Who are we looking for?

To fit our profile you will have an academic degree equivalent to a Master’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration/Economics.

Extensive experience from advanced sales and/or business development in is expected be successful in this position, preferably +10 years. Management consulting experience is valuable as well as industry experience to be successful in this position. Great leadership skills, relationship building and analytical skills are three important cornerstones we build on.

In addition to adequate education and experience we need you to have excellent language skills in English and preferably other languages, and experience from living abroad. Travel both in the region and mainly to Sweden is frequent.
