Aidex is the world’s largest fair with focus on humanitarian and development aid. The fair is arranged annually in November in Brussels with the aim to obtain a platform for networking and business opportunities between companies, UN agencies and NGOs. The fair has four main focuses: Water and hygiene, logistics and communication, medicine and shelter. In conjunction with Aidex, Business Sweden arranges in cooperation with the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and the Swedish Embassy in Brussels a Swedish pavilion to represent a unified exposure for Swedish companies on the fair.

The fair usually attracts about 2 000 visitors from 70 countries and 200 exhibiting companies. Engineering and procurement experts from UN agencies such as UNDP, UNHCR, UNICEF, UNOPS, OCHA, UNRIC, WFP, and WHO together with NGOs such as the Red Cross, Action Against Hunger, Doctors Without Borders, Oxfam and Save the Children are frequently represented at the fair.

Companies with solutions that are qualified the area of crisis and disaster are welcome to participate at the fair.
