Russia-Sweden top-level business dialogue

On June 3, 2017 some of the key Swedish investors in Russia gathered in St Petersburg to meet and interact with Russian top level authorities. The dialogue was held in a format of a panel discussion arranged by Business Sweden during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), which is the flagship business forum in Russia

Vice Minister for Industry and Trade, Governor of Kaluga region, CEO of Association for European Business in Russia were invited to attend the business dialogue with AstraZeneca, Volvo, SKF, Nordea and Ericsson.
SPIEF took place from June 1 to 3, 2017 at the ExpoForum Convention and Exhibition Centre in St. Petersburg.

The forum has been held since 1997. Over the years, it has turned into one of the biggest international economic forums in the world. Its participants include heads of state and government, executives of international companies and organizations as well as leading global experts that include representatives of science, the media and civil society. The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2016 was attended by over 12,000 participants from 133 countries.

Roscongress Foundation signed a cooperation agreement with Business Sweden. Roscongress Foundation CEO Alexander Stuglev and Head of Business Sweden in Russia Andreas Giallourakis signed the agreement. The parties agreed to cooperate in building effective communications between the expert communities and business and political circles in the Russian Federation and the Kingdom of Sweden.
