Swedish companies motivation to do business in Latvia is strengthened by good ICT infrastructure, easiness of establishing a company, reliable and hardworking labor force.
Tax system in Latvia is perceived as fairly good, however Swedish entrepreneurs believe that lower taxes would improve country’s competitiveness among other Baltic countries and more e-services would decrease bureaucracy.
Swedish companies also suggest that improvements in dispute settling system, more efficient enforcement of fair competition practices, reducing bureaucracy on different levels and fighting corruption are key areas for improvement of business climate.
