Despite a relatively slow economic development in recent years, Italy maintains its position as one of the leading economies in the world. Italy is the world’s eighth largest economy with many opportunities for Swedish industry. Swedish export increased with 9.1 percent in 2014 at a value of SEK 27,2 billion - at the same time imports reached SEK 34,12 billion.
