Indonesia is the largest economy in one of the world’s most dynamic regions – Southeast Asia. In 2030, Indonesia will have almost 300 million inhabitants and be the 7th largest economy in the world.

Indonesia is today a country with 255 million people spread across an archipelago of 17 500 islands. The rapidly increasing spending power, the tech-savvy population and Indonesia´s massive public investments create great business opportunities for Swedish companies within a wide range of industries. Since Ericsson first came to Indonesia in 1907, many other Swedish companies have followed. Today, around 80 companies with ties to Sweden are active in Indonesia – and many are exploring this exciting and important market.
