Verismo HR is a talent management solution that helps organizations to organize, optimize and coordinate their work and results. The system is unlike many competing systems, adapted to the European business model, which has contributed to Verismos strong position in Sweden and Finland. The choice to focus on the Danish market was made by having close interaction with Business Sweden.
Appealing business climate attracts
-Our interest in Denmark was brought to us after we had received several inquiries from Danish companies who wanted to sell our system. In addition, we were attracted by the business climate and the fact that there is a faster decision-making process in Denmark. After discussions with Business Sweden Denmark, we got to the conclusion that we wanted to focus on the Danish market, says Krister Olsson, sales manager at Verismo Systems. ‘
As a first step Business Sweden conducted a market review within Human resources in Denmark. Next stage of the project focused on the identification and screening of potential partners, which resulted in a list of potential partners in both payroll systems and HR consultants. A careful selection of potential partners, combined with Business Sweden’s well-established network on the Danish market, helped one to identify interesting business partners based upon Verismo’s requirements.
-Business Sweden did an excellent job with identifying HR consultants and payroll companies and presented a very relevant result, fully in line with our request, continues Krister Olsson.
Meetings with decision makers
The selected partners were contacted by Business Sweden for interviews and marketing of verismo’s products, the step was performed so that they could book meetings with relevant decision makers. The dialogue with both Verismo and the selected players continued during the project, this so that they could reconcile the common interests. Verismo conducted the meetings with a consultant from Business Sweden on their office in Copenhagen. The meetings included one of Denmark’s largest IT companies, some payroll companies and HR consultants and resulted in concrete contract discussions.
- The meeting that was arranged with the Danish participants was good and qualitative. Business Sweden had prepared them well and they knew what it was all about, which made it easier for me when I conducted the meetings. Our next step is to pursue and conclude contracts with the companies we are in dialogue with. Now we have a clear idea of what sort of partnerships we strive for, says Krister Olsson.
