LBM, now being the property of LVMH Luxury Group, sells a wide range of high-end goods and serves as a creative breeding ground. The objective with the cooperation with LBM was to give Swedish companies an opening to the French market, LBM being a great window to showcase products and get the brands known in France. It was also an opportunity to promote the Swedish fashion and retail scene.

By prospecting the Swedish fashion scene for upcoming companies and introducing those having the target profile to LBM, Business Sweden managed to build a strong relationship with the department store’s purchasing managers. Business Sweden continued to assist the targeted companies by guiding them throughout the negotiation process and setting up a sales plan. 40 companies were introduced to purchasing managers, out of which five got listed and started selling their products at LBM. Business Sweden has continued to strengthen its relationship with LBM and is now working on a long-term collaboration, by continuously introducing new Swedish companies to the Parisian department store.
