Unique platforms for Swedish companies' growth

an image
Business Sweden creates various platforms for business and network development, identifies partners and key stakeholders, and reaches decision makers which enable establishment and growth abroad in a cost effective manner. Examples of this are industry clusters in the medical technology and mining industries, as well as the Swedish Pavilion at the Mobile World Congress.

The platforms Business Sweden creates play an important role for Swedish companies and create value for both established companies, start-ups and everything in between. The work is infused with Sweden's core values and the key messages are defined along these; society, innovation, creativity and sustainability.

In Spain, significant projects with industry clusters within medical technology and the mining industry through the concepts SymbioCare and Innovative Mining are taking place. Within each area synergies are created between the companies and its partners, both governmental and private.

In a similar manner, Business Sweden gathers some 20 innovative telecom companies at the Swedish Pavilion at the Mobile World Congress (MWC). By taking advantage of the strong Swedish brand that exists within the industry, great interest is generated for the Swedish pavilion, giving increased exposure and attention for each participating company.

- The Swedish pavilion is a great gathering place with good location and good exposure. We have considered having our own stand, but the benefits of partnering with Business Sweden prevail, says Joakim Nydemark, CEO at Crunchfish AB.

Business Sweden as a unifying link ensures that Swedish innovation and development within ICT is being highlighted at this global trade fair. To attract visitors to the pavilion, additional activities are being organized together with various partners, which add great value for participating companies.

- Our targets and expectations for the fair has been reached and discussions are still proceeding with contacts initiated during MWC, says Oskar Swirtun VP Business Development at ENEA Software.

- Through our presence at MWC large deals has been made, including projects with Kodak and Caterpillar in 140 countries, says Jonatan Redvik, founder and CEO at Appland.

According to companies’ individual needs, activities can be carried out to reach decision-makers at the various telecommunications operators through the contacts and strong network Business Sweden has, for example collaborative efforts with key stakeholders at Telefónica and Unitel.
