Australia: Swedish companies' export, investments, and presence

Sweden and Australia’s history of doing business dates back to the late 19th century. Today Australia is considered one of Sweden's most important trading partners.

The Swedish Australian Chamber of Commerce was established in 1911 and by the end of World War II a significant number of Swedish businesses were present. ABB, Alfa Laval, Ericsson, SKF and Wallenius Wilhelmsen were some of the pioneers - today there are over 500 Swedish companies that do business with Australia.
