Assisting 86.7 million people in around 83 countries each year, United Nation’s World Food Programme (WFP) is the world leading humanitarian organization delivering food assistance in emergencies and improving the situation for those in need. The aid comes with great infrastructural and organizational challenges, where Swedish companies can provide valuable solutions.
Business Sweden would like to invite innovative Swedish companies within the fields of energy, transport, and logistics solutions to a two-day WFP workshop and delegation. The visit will take place 28-29 January 2020 at the residence of the Swedish ambassador to Italy, and at WFP’s headquarter – both located in Rome, Italy.
In this visit you will:
- Obtain first-hand insight on the challenges and needs in WFP’s operations
- Position your solutions towards key stakeholders and users at WFP
- Have an opportunity to establish new contacts and to engage strategically with an UN agency and their thematic managers within relevant fields
