Global Automotive Supplier Project 2014

Business Sweden is in 2014 launching the Global Automotive Supplier Project (GASP) focusing on establishing high quality contacts between Swedish suppliers in the automotive industry and important decision makers from five carefully selected OEMs: Fiat/Chrysler, Tesla, Tata Motors, AutoVaz and Great Wall.

Built upon previous successful collaboration between Business Sweden and Fiat/Chrysler and thanks to our established contact and continuous presence in the various key markets, Business Sweden is launching in 2014 GASP on a global scale.

The overall objective of GASP is to generate more business worldwide for Swedish automotive suppliers by setting up a platform enabling Swedish suppliers to meet targeted decision makers from five exciting OEMs across the globe. The following focus areas are a few examples of what the OEMs have shown keen interests in:

  • Strong and light weight material (cole fiber, Kevlar)
  • Unique bonding materials for the battery modules and semiconductors
  • Sustainable plastics, bioplastics and recyclable
  • Fuel economy: vehicles system efficiency, alternative fuels
  • Engine, powertrain/gearbox technologies
  • Vehicle safety (active and passive)
  • Vehicle electronics
  • ... more

GASP will follow a three step evaluation process and Business Sweden will present your company to the OEMs and report feedback continuously. To read more about the three steps, please click here.
