06 May - 09 May Doha

Project Qatar 2013

Business Sweden invites you to participate in the Swedish Pavilion at Project Qatar, 6-9 May 2013 at Doha Exhibition Centre. Project Qatar is known as a key event for the Qatari and Middle Eastern Construction, Building, Infrastructure, Environmental Technology and Materials markets.

One of the most lucrative project markets in the world
The booming Qatari economy is driven by countrywide investments in infrastructure, resulting in one of the strongest economic performances in the world. Average construction market annual growth is estimated at 12.5% over the next decade as preparations for FIFA 2022 get underway. The next 5-6 years’ infrastructure spending is expected to total USD 120 billion.

Good prospects for 2013 following last year’s success
The programme will kick off with a welcoming lunch with Ambassador of Sweden to the United Arab Emirates and Qatar and head of delegation Mr. Max Bjuhr. An introductory presentation will provide the latest updates on national flagship projects in the infrastructure and construction sectors.

The following is included in the participation package*:

  • 9 m2 of exhibitor space at the official Swedish Pavilion, providing a basis for networking and sales opportunities
  • Exclusive get-togethers with local stakeholders, both private and public
  • Support in arranging 2-3 individual meetings
  • Five hotel nights in Doha

The participation price is 20,000 SEK for companies with less than 50 employees and a turnover of less than EUR 10 million and SEK 40,000 for larger companies.
