Mr. Gunnar Oom, State Secretary to Minister for Trade Ewa Björling, and Business Sweden are pleased to invite your company to a business seminar on how to obtain funding and participate in procurements financed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the European Investment Bank (EIB) and the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
This is a unique chance to take part of identified business opportunities and get the tools necessary to become competitive in international procurements worth billions of USD.
This event is a continuation of Business Sweden’s’ bank seminar in October 2012 where more than 100 Swedish companies participated together with representatives from the major development banks. This year’s seminar is to be considered as the second step of our long-term ambition to make Swedish companies more visible and competitive in procurements arranged by international financial institutions. We identify business opportunities and give your company the tools required for a winning bid.
The event will start with initial presentations by Business Sweden and representatives from the banks, followed by a case presentation, practical workshops and a final networking session. This approach will not only give you increased knowledge about the banks’ missions, market focus and level of investments, but more importantly it will highlight relevant upcoming projects and business opportunities, identified by our appointed offices in Europe and Asia, targeting selected business sectors.
Business Sweden wants to facilitate a dialogue between Swedish companies and decision-makers from the mentioned banks with the objective to improve chances of being awarded with future contracts.
A second seminar will also be held later this autumn where funding and procurements financed by the World Bank (WB), the African Development Bank (AfDB) and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) will be presented.
Fill in the form below to register, the seminar is free of charge. Registration includes participation in the morning, lunch and afternoon closing session. For participation at the afternoon workshops please tick which one/ones you would like to participate in. Places are limited.
