Business Sweden together with the Ministry for Foreign Affairs are pleased to invite your company to a business seminar on how to obtain funding and participate in procurements financed by multilateral development banks – this time with the World Bank (WB), the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), and the African Development Bank (AfDB).
Take part of identified business opportunities and develop a strategy to become competitive in international procurements worth billions of USD.
This is Business Sweden’s second seminar on the theme this year and considering the interest for our first seminar held on October 2nd we expect participation to be high.
Both seminars are to be considered as a continuation of last year’s bank seminar held in October where more than 100 Swedish companies participated together with representatives from the major development banks. Moreover, they are a second step of our long-term ambition to make Swedish companies more visible and competitive in procurements arranged by international financial institutions. We identify business opportunities and give your company the tools required for a winning bid.
The event will start with initial presentations by Business Sweden and representatives from the banks, followed by a case presentation, practical workshops and a final networking session. This approach will not only give you increased knowledge about the banks’ missions, market focus and level of investments, but more importantly it will highlight relevant upcoming projects and business opportunities, identified by our appointed offices in Africa and Latin America, targeting selected business sectors.
By facilitating access to relevant information Business Sweden wants to increase Swedish companies’ participation in projects financed by the multilateral development banks.
