11 Feb - 12 Feb Tehran, Iran

Stepping up the Swedish-Iranian business relationship

Business Sweden invites you to participate in a unique Team Sweden Delegation to Iran headed by the Swedish Minister for EU Affairs and Trade, Ms. Ann Linde. The main focus for the delegation will be Health Care, Energy, Transportation, and ICT – areas where Swedish solutions meet the high demands of the Iranian market. The delegation is organized by Business Sweden and the Ministry for Foreign Affairs in close cooperation with the Embassy of Sweden in Tehran.

The lifting of sanctions has opened the Iranian economy, one of the last great untapped emerging markets, to international trade and investment. Iran offers interesting business opportunities to a large number of Swedish companies. Business and trade between Iran and Sweden is expected to grow significantly over the coming years.

Iran is currently undergoing major transformational changes aimed towards attracting foreign investments and increasing trade with the EU to drive economic development. Iran’s long term goal is to become a regional hub and partner for manufacturing and regional distribution.

Sweden has always been perceived as a trustworthy partner in Iran, delivering high quality goods and services to the benefit of the Iranian society.

The delegation program will include:

- Meetings with key decision makers in both the private and public sectors

- Meetings with potential business partners and clients

- Sector roundtables with relevant ministries

- Participation in a Swedish-Iranian Business Forum

Swedish companies are invited to participate in the delegation with their global CEO or a representative from the executive management team.

Please confirm your participation no later than 21-12-2016, by using the registration form.
