Business Sweden, in collaboration with Swecare Foundation, the Embassy of Sweden in Riyadh, the Ministry of Health and Social Affairs and the Ministry for Foreign Affairs invites you to participate in the delegation to Saudi Arabia and the Swedish-Saudi Health Care Conference in connection to the visit of Gabriel Wikström, Swedish Minister for Health Care, Public Health and Sport, during 15-16 December 2015.
The Saudi Arabian health care sector continues to be the largest health care market in the Middle East with large planned investments in both the private and public sector. The share of the health care and social affairs budget allocations are approximately 43 billion USD representing the second largest part in the national budget for 2015. Across the country, new health care projects are projected including three new hospitals, blood banks, numerous medical clinics and primary health care centres as well as continuing the construction of 117 hospitals and eight medical cities.
Swedish companies are encouraged to be present and be active in construction of hospitals, hospital management, as well as supplying medical devices in different areas e.g. oncology. E-health, dialysis, infection control and intensive care products and services are also requested.
The participation at the delegation and the conference, with thematic workshops, will create opportunities to meet both high-level representatives and professionals from the Saudi health care sector. The programme and the workshops will be developed in close collaboration with participating companies and their local partners.
The fee is SEK 38,000 (SEK 19,000 for companies with max. 50 employees and a turnover of EUR 10 million) including participation in the complete delegation and conference programme, two networking lunches and dinners and transport during the program. The fee does not include travel or hotel.
