On the occasion of the visit by State Secretary to the Minister for EU Affairs and Trade, Oscar Stenström, the Embassy of Sweden in Israel and Business Sweden invites you to participate in an Innovation and Tech Transfer Business Delegation to Israel.
The role of innovation is at the moment redefining many industries. Digitalization is one of the main driving forces in this process, creating a new dynamic in the business environment. Business models get a shorter life span, industry barriers become lower for new entrants and cross sectoral competence is needed when launching new solutions.
This change imposes new challenges for companies to stay competitive. A more collaborative approach to drive innovation is called for – whether it is to do joint R&D, partnerships, licensing, hiring or selling. And it is becoming more and more important to have access to innovative environments.
Israel is one of these global innovative hot spots. It is a cutting edge leader in competences such as big data, augmented reality and ICT, enabling innovations in e.g. Industry 4.0, gaming, autonomous transportation and MedTech. Sweden is also a world leader in the field of innovation. Yet the exchange between Sweden and Israel has not reached its full strategic potential.
On site you will be provided the opportunity to:
- Understand and tap into the Israeli Innovation Infrastructure
- Meet central players such as Tech-Transfer Organisations & Research & Development Centres
- Encounter, bench-mark and match-make with Israeli High-Tech start-ups & new technologies in your field of business
Preliminary programme and more information
Please confirm your participation by October 21 2016 by sending an email to email@example.com or contact Jakob Mökander, Business Sweden at +436642351521
