Egypt telecom business opportunity seminar

The Swedish Embassy in Cairo and Business Sweden invites you to participate in Egypt Telecom Business Opportunity Seminar on 5 – 6 November 2014 in Cairo. The seminar will bring together Egyptian and Swedish ICT policy makers, officials, companies, and businesses to discuss the stressing issues in the Egyptian ICT arena and means of cooperation and doing business together.

This seminar comes in parallel to Egypt’s main ICT conference and exhibition Cairo ICT, which takes place between 4 – 7 November 2014.

Seminar divided in three sessions

Egypt ICT seminar is planned to be a one day event split in three main sections. We will kick-off with a keynote speech from H.E. Charlotta Sparre, Ambassador of Sweden to Egypt and H.E. Egyptian Minister of Communication and Information Technology, followed by a panel discussion of Egyptian and Swedish policy makers, such as chairman of the National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA), experts from the MCIT as well as from Swedish Post and Telecom Authority (PTS) and Stokab.

The second session will involve a more business focused panel discussion where we bring together voices from the markets, where we will invite Egyptian and Swedish ICT companies and businesses to discuss the opportunities underlying in the Egyptian market. The seminar last session will consist of a matchmaking activity with business to business meetings whereby Egyptian and Swedish companies can discuss partnership and develop further cooperation. The day will be concluded with a networking dinner hosted by H.E. Charlotta Sparre with invited guests at the Ambassador’s residence
