The Swedish Embassy and Business Sweden, The Swedish Trade and Invest Council, will arrange a Swedish Pavilion at EXPOMIN 2014 on April 21-25. EXPOMIN is recognized as one of the world's most important mining exhibitions and is a key industry event for mining in Latin America.
For many years it has been the first step for Swedish companies to learn about and enter the Latin American market with many exhibitors going on to establish their presence in Chile after exhibiting.
EXPOMIN 2014 will be bigger than ever and the organizers expect 80,000 visitors and 1,400 exhibitors from over 30 countries. This creates a strong opportunity to meet mining executives, specialized distributors and potential commercial partners and customers from Chile and the Latin American region.
Swedish mining, equipment, and technology suppliers enjoy a world-leading reputation in Chile. At EXPOMIN, key players within the Chilean mining industry are eager to learn about the latest Swedish technology and services to be showcased at the Swedish Pavilion.
To be part of Swedish Pavilion at EXPOMIN:
Make use of the Swedish Pavilion for networking, relationship building and creating business opportunities. Managers from targeted mining companies will be escorted through the pavilion to meet the Swedish exhibitors. These facilitated introductions may also include company representatives from other Latin American mining markets such as Peru
Utilize “official Sweden” to engage customers and help reaching target stakeholders with government, authorities, mining and engineering companies, including premier networking events such as the inauguration cocktail and a Swedish function hosted by the Swedish Ambassador at her residence
Support market differentiation by leveraging the Swedish mining experience and strong company cluster (“team Sweden”) as a marketing platform to attract stakeholders
Share the effort and cost required for participating in EXPOMIN between several companies, which might be difficult for one company to carry alone
The Swedish Pavilion measures 53 square meter in total and will be located in front of Finland’s stand, alongside Norway’s stand and other European companies.
The design will be in line with previous years’ pavilions using “team Sweden” as the umbrella brand. Companies can choose the level of participation in the pavilion that suits their marketing needs and budget.
