Sweden – Uganda ICT Conference

The Embassy of Sweden in Kampala together with Business Sweden in collaboration with the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ericsson have the pleasure of inviting you to the “Sweden – Ugandan ICT Conference" in Kampala, January 28th.

The aim of the event is to bring the two nations together for knowledge sharing, networking and for you to meet Swedish experts, innovators and entrepreneurs.

Speakers - including government officials, companies, and industry experts from both countries will interact and present their views on ICT and business concepts related to how ICT will grow and empower people, businesses and society in Uganda. The conference will be held on January 28 January 2014, at the Serena Hotel in Uganda and will address:

  1. Best practices of ICT benefits - in the private and public sector

  2. Policies and Foundations - how to create an environment that drives ICT development (e.g. allocation of frequency spectrum),

  3. Infrastructure - building sustainable innovative ICT infrastructure to facilitate high speed broadband access

Experts will be on site to share their thought leadership and expertise in the content areas mentioned. Meet entrepreneur and service providers that drive mobile and broadband value added services.

This event is an invitation only event and it is free of charge.
