On April 14 - 18 AM, Business Sweden and Swecare in cooperation with the Ministry of Social Affairs, the Swedish Embassy in Beijing and the Swedish Consulate General in Shanghai, will arrange a delegation trip to China.
China´s Twelfth Five-Year plan includes several ambitious healthcare targets. The health care insurance coverage is to be expanded, the essential drug list will be improved and hospitals reformed. A great number of new hospitals will be built and many new healthcare workers will be trained.
In 2006, Sweden and China signed a Memorandum of Understanding in the field of health care. Under this MoU the cooperation between our two countries has intensified. China shows a great interest in "the Swedish model" and in combination with the growing market and the strong economy this offers great opportunities for Swedish companies.
The participants in the delegation will be given opportunity to visit two strategic important areas of China; Beijing and Shanghai. Through a mix of meetings with key stakeholders from national and local levels, study visits (hospital) and seminars, Swedish companies have the opportunity to present their solutions and build a foundation for future business with Chinese actors from both public and private sector. A SymbioCare Forum will be held in Shanghai including panel discussions focusing on; 1. Elderly Care, 2. Infection Control, 3. Future Health Care and 4.Cancer management.
60.000 SEK/company/person. (30.000 SEK for companies with less than 50 employees and a turnover of less than EUR 10 million).
