Focus is on investing in solutions and technologies that can benefit the health and care system increasing the value while lowering the costs.
Business Sweden has created a networking platform where both public, private and social part of the sector are given the opportunity to further discuss possibilities and solutions directly with Swedish health providers. The seminar in Lisbon is the first in Portugal, and forth within the Iberia SymbioCare Platform initiative. It will take place on December 3rd at the Centro Cultural de Belém in Lisbon.

The first seminar within the SymbioCare Platform was held in Barcelona in March, the second one at the Canary Islands in May and recently the third one in Madrid on October 23rd. So far, a total of eight companies (Alkit Communications, Ascom, Aurora Innovation, Cambio Healthcare Systems, iDoc24, InfoSolutions, Gripping Heart, Mentice and SecMaker) have attended along with four partner companies (Diaverum, Neat, Mölnlycke and Gambro). On December 3rd, the fourth edition of SymbioCare Platform in Iberia will take place in Lisbon.
Mrs. Caroline Fleetwood, Ambassador of Sweden in Portugal inaugurates the seminars together with the Secretary of State of Health in Portugal, Mr. Manuel Ferreira Teixeira. The agenda continues with key note-speaker Mr. Mats Larson, Governmental Advisor and international e-Health expert from Sweden as well as key speakers on behalf of the partner companies. They all present their perspective upon efficiency followed by a debate on the topic “how does your company contribute to a more efficient health care system”. During the seminar great networking opportunities exist to interact with attending people. After lunch, pre-organized business meetings with key contacts and decision makers are carried out.
More than 170 representatives from the Health Care systems; decision-makers, medical directors, CIOs and other stakeholders have attended the seminars so far, enabling Swedish companies to access the regional health care industry for concrete business opportunities where RFQs and pilot projects are under discussions!
