When GSMA at the beginning of each year organises the world's largest mobile and telecom congress, the focus of the entire industry turns to Barcelona. During the Mobile World Congress week, Business Sweden will be having a team on site to host the Swedish Pavilion and to support attending Swedish companies to reach their full international potential and to take advantage of the international business opportunities and attention offered during the congress.

The Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona is the world’s largest fair for mobile technology, where representatives from mobile operators, vendors, and manufacturers gather as well as suppliers of software and hardware. Business Sweden has since 2003 been participating and hosting the Swedish Pavilion at MWC.
For the 15th edition of the Swedish Pavilion, there will be an additional focus on activities and increased content in order to contribute to higher impact for the Swedish ICT-industry at MWC17. The pavilion will have a new setup and design in order to be able to offer a variety of services and possibilities apart from individual expo stands, for example a designated area for companies to hold their own pitches, presentations and gatherings has been added and there are now further possibilities for companies to be part of the Swedish Pavilion without having a physical stand.
Business Sweden is, as every year, also offering additional business support for attending companies prior and during the congress such as stakeholder management etc.
Participation in the Swedish Pavilion at MWC offers Swedish companies a convenient and cost efficient way to have a professional presence during the fair. By participating, companies have the opportunity to promote their products to many valuable international contacts together with Business Sweden and the Swedish brand. The 2016 edition of the Mobile World Congress gathered close to 101 000 visitors from 204 countries around the world and 25 companies were exhibiting in the Swedish Pavilion.
There is a big interest to participate in the Swedish Pavilion at MWC17 and only a few spots are left.
New for the Swedish pavilion at MWC17 is that we have a special offer for start-up companies through our concept Swedish Hotspot (www.swedishhotspot.com) which has been developed together with Tillväxtverket and Almi to promote and focus on the next generation of Swedish tech entrepreneurs and innovations.
