U.S. Smart Grid Delegation to Sweden

Sweden is home to some of the world's most notable examples of Smart city developments and was one of the first countries in the world to complete a national roll out of smart meters. Global companies such as Ericsson, ABB and Vattenfall call the country home as do more than several dozen innovative Smart Grid companies and suppliers.

Business Sweden, the Swedish Trade and Invest Council, would like to invite American utility companies, municipalities, smart grid software and component providers and various other industry stakeholders to join a U.S. smart grid delegation to visit existing Swedish smart cities, experts and innovative suppliers to share knowledge, gain exposure to new ideas and network to strengthen business opportunities and U.S. – Sweden relations.

    Get first-hand experience and exposure to existing smart cities in Sweden which are used as functional, research and development platforms

  • Learn from Swedish Smart Grid experiences and industry

    Meet with industry experts and gain knowledge from Smart Grid stakeholders; network with innovative Smart Grid suppliers to gain a different perspective on what is available and achievable; potential to increase supplier base and leverage foreign expertise
