Seminar on “Innovative & Secure Retail – Increasing Productivity”

The Embassy of Sweden and Business Sweden (The Swedish Trade and Invest Council) and the Singapore Productivity Centre are proud to present Innovative and Secure Retail - Increase Productivity. This is an executive business seminar focusing on how to increase productivity by using innovative and secure retail solutions.

As we all know, the retail industry faces tough challenges, including fierce competition, low margins, and increasing rental and labour costs.  Retailers are also exposed to security challenges and time-costly processes as cash makes up a significant proportion of payment.

The seminar will provide participants with key insights from leading Swedish retailers such as IKEA on how they have expanded business operations and managed challenges in loss prevention, security, merchandising and ways to optimize store performance and concepts to improve customer experience.  Swedish companies such as Gunnebo, Axis Communications, CashGuard and Pricer will also share their experiences on retail innovation and productivity as well as how to secure growth in the retail business.

Who Should Attend?

  • Singapore businesses interested in learning about the current trends and challenges in the retail sector, how to boost productivity by optimizing business solutions and using innovative technologies
  • Retailers and other stakeholders interested in key insights from leading Swedish retail companies on how they have optimized business processes to become more efficient and profitable

Follow-up from Seminar

After the seminar, the Singapore Productivity Centre (SPC) and representatives of Business Sweden or Swedish companies will be pleased to follow up with you to provide consultancy assistance in any of the areas of interest to your company.  A Study Mission to Sweden is also being planned with Business Sweden in conjunction with this seminar to learn the best practices and innovative solutions adopted by retailers in Sweden
