About the Speakers

Markus Gnirck
Co-Founder and CEO of tryb, a financial technology investment company in Singapore. tryb invests in, builds out and aggregates infrastructure technology for South East Asian financial services. Markus was also Co-Founder of Startupbootcamp FinTech, the largest global FinTech innovation program. He laid the groundwork for FinTech ecosystems active across Asian regions today. Markus has worked with over 100 early stage companies, and sits on the board of multiple firms across Europe and Asia. Markus is also an active angel investor.

Dušan Stojanović
A "citizen of the world" with a Swedish passport, Dušan Stojanovic was awarded the prize Business Angel of the Year in Europe in 2013 by EBAN (European Business Angel Network) after having three positive exits within a week. He was also nominated as one of four Business Angels of the Year in Europe 2009 by EBAN. He was announced as among FINTECH ASIA 100 Leaders In Asian Fintech in 2016 after moving to Asia in 2014. He has worked for more than 20 years within Business Development, primarily within Fintech, at GE Capital and Monabanq.com and later at True Global Ventures. He invests in and has a strong international network in Silicon Valley, New York, Beijing, Hong Kong, Singapore, Stockholm, Berlin, London and Paris. Mr Stojanovic is a regular speaker and judge on conferences, having appeared on more than 100 occasions since 2005. He has a solid track record with 9 out of 18 investments, all related to payments & Fintech, fully or partly exited.
