05 Oct - 07 Oct Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Join the Smart Energy Delegation to Malaysia

By request from local authorities and utility providers you are invited to join the smart energy delegation to Malaysia October 5-7, 2016. It will take place in conjunction with the International Greentech & Eco Products Exhibition & Conference Malaysia (IGEM2016).

In May 2016 Business Sweden and the Swedish Embassy in Kuala Lumpur organised a three day activity in Sweden for 17 Malaysian delegates. The purpose was to share the Swedish experience of sustainable living and showcasing the Swedish solutions in green energy and smart metering. Both public and private representatives attended the knowledge sharing trip in order to absorb and grasp the latest technologies that Sweden has to offer.

The Malaysian delegates became very impressed with the whole experience and invited Team Sweden for continued collaboration this autumn. Therefore to build on already strong relations and interest for Swedish solutions Business Sweden is organising this excellent opportunity for you to meet these decision makers, among others. They explicitly asked for solutions within waste to energy and smart grid.

Malaysia has already begun gearing towards a greener society and limiting their dependence on fossil fuels. Extensive projects have been initiated throughout the nation; one of these is Low Carbon Langkawi, a project to create Malaysia’s first sustainable and low carbon island.
