Sustainable airports indonesia delegation 2016

Business Sweden, the Swedish Embassy and the Ministry for Foreign Affairs invite you to participate in a delegation to Indonesia with the purpose to capture the business opportunities related to investments in the building, upgrading and expansion of new and existing airports.

The delegation will provide Swedish companies with the opportunity to meet with key decision makers from the Ministry of Transportation, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, the Airport Operators, Navigation Operators, Airlines, Training Centres and potential partner companies.

As an archipelago nation, Indonesia has close to 240 airports, more than 60 new airports to be developed until 2030 and a number of expansion and upgrade projects undergoing. Key drivers for the rapid development in the aviation industry and airport infrastructure includes increased travel volumes due to rising middle class incomes, increased tourism, rapid Indonesian and ASEAN economic growth and a general need for upgrading existing infrastructure to meet international standards.

Identified investments of more than USD 3.3 billion are currently made in Indonesian airports and demand for solutions exist in various areas relevant to Swedish companies such as airport capacity improvements, operations control systems, airport digital infrastructure, ground transportation systems, integrated cargo villages and warehouses, energy power plan provision and waste water management and human resource capability improvements.

Our goal with this delegation is to showcase Swedish solutions and companies active within several areas connected to airports and aviation, and how the Indonesian government and airport/aviation companies work with planning and procurement of future solutions. As the cornerstone in Sweden´s success are all the Swedish companies supplying products and solutions the program will focus around promoting these.

Take the opportunity to meet Indonesian decision makers and showcase how your company solutions can be implemented in Indonesia!
