Ambassador Banashri Bose Harrison will explain the “Make in India” campaign which was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 25th in New Delhi when he declared that India is "Open for business".
Prime minister Modi’s vision has inspired entrepreneurs and CEOs round the world including Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg and Amazon’s Jeff Bezos who travelled to India to meet him earlier this month. India wants to become a manufacturing hub - to meet its domestic demand and to export to the world. Companies already producing there are able to expand their markets, reach new segments and at the same time utilize what many do not have at home - manpower and enough engineers. Results are stunning and the quality is world class for both the more complex production sites as well as for the assembly plants.
