Webinar: Opportunities for Swedish Businesses under CETA

Join us for a one hour webinar discussing details of CETA and what it means for current Swedish exporters or companies considering to export to North America. Learn more about doing business in Canada and the key sector opportunities across the country including mining, infrastructure, consumer goods and food and beverage.

With the CETA Comprehensive Economic Trade Agreement between EU and Canada in its final stages, many Swedish companies are re-evaluating their export strategy in order to take advantage of the benefits of the agreement with Canada.

CETA free trade agreement is a comprehensive agreement aimed at removing barriers of trade for EU and Canadian companies. A key feature of the agreement is the elimination of 98% of tariffs upon entry into force provided the products have Canadian or EU origin. Other aspects of the agreement include facilitating service and labour movement between the two countries, facilitating regulatory and standardization of products between the two regions, simplifying customs processes and allowing EU company bidding on Canadian public tenders.

For specific questions please email: agata.leszkiewicz@business-sweden.se prior to the webinar and we will try to answer your questions during the live webinar.
