Opportunities for Swedish and Canadian Businesses under CETA

Discover the benefits of free trade! Fair, free, and progressive international trade should deliver sustainable and inclusive economic growth while spurring job creation.

In conjunction with the state visit from Canada you are invited to a seminar in the presence of His Majesty the King of Sweden and the Governor General of Canada, H.E. David Johnston.

In anticipation of the implementation of the Canada-EU Comprehensive Economic Trade Agreement (CETA) in 2017, Canada and Sweden look to strengthen economic ties and encourage increased trade and investment between Swedish and Canadian companies.

The seminar will be opened by Business Sweden’s CEO Ylva Berg, followed by remarks from Governor General H.E. David Johnston and Minister for EU Affairs and Trade Ann Linde. There will be a panel discussion on new opportunities resulting from the implementation of CETA and presentations on specific impacts of CETA for Swedish companies doing business in Canada. The presentations will feature business opportunities in the Canadian market as well as information on tariff reductions, rules of origin, regulatory cooperation and conformity assessment.

If you are currently doing business in Canada, or considering Canada as your next export market or investment destination, this event is a rare opportunity not to be missed.
