Swedish Environmental Technologies Week in Mexico

Business Sweden in Mexico, in collaboration with the Swedish Embassy, will organize a week of Swedish Environmental Technologies in Mexico from 25th to 28th May.

This initiative will take advantage of Nordic high-level governmental visits to Mexico, in connection with the Clean Energy Ministerial Meeting (CEM), which will take place in Merida, Mexico, and will provide a platform for Swedish companies to showcase their brands and technologies under the umbrella of three different seminars/events within the clean-tech sectors:

Smart Grid Seminar, May 25th

The objective of this seminar is to foster creative ideas, exchange knowledge and experiences, and open up for dialogue and networking between key stakeholders and experts from Mexico and Sweden within Smart Grid and electricity solutions.

This seminar will target main stakeholders of the Ministry of Energy and the Federal Electricity Commission.

Nordic Clean Technologies Seminar, May 26th

Business Sweden together with the Embassies of Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden will organize the conference on the Nordic Experience with the Transition to Clean Energy Economies.

The event will provide a guaranteed exposure to relevant Mexican stakeholders, as well as serve as an opportunity to network with decision makers within Minister of Energy, Federal Electricity Commission, Mexican Petroleum and private companies within the Renewables, Energy Efficiency and Water & Environment sectors.

Emerging Cities Delegation, May 27th-28th

The Emerging and Sustainable Cities Initiative (ESCI) of the Inter-American Development Bank, is a technical assistance program that helps intermediate cities in Latin America and the Caribbean in identifying prioritizing and structuring projects to improve their environmental, urban and fiscal sustainability.

Business Sweden Mexico is organizing the Emerging Cities Delegation in order to present Swedish technology, solutions and experience to stakeholders at the Emerging and Sustainable Cities Initiative.

Two Mexican cities part of the ESCI will be visited during this Delegation for site visits and meetings with local authorities in order to position and promote Swedish companies and their products and services.
