During the past 2-3 years, Business Sweden has noted an increased interest the past 2-3 years from Swedish companies, wishing to get in touch with key stakeholders at the telecom operators in the Maghreb region. Recently, we have also seen several Swedish SMEs win contracts with operators in the region, particularly in Morocco and Tunisia. Therefore, we are planning a visiting program to the telecom operators in Morocco and Tunisia entitled "A Swedish Approach to the Innovative and Connected Society“. It is a three-day tour with 2 stops incl. customized B2B-meetings at the operators’ offices, where each participating company chooses which telecoms operators they would like to meet in Morocco and Tunisia respectively. The telecom tour aims to provide an opportunity to get valuable first hand insight into the operators’ current and future projects. It is adapted to companies with the objective to:
- Initiate and strengthen relations with the telecom operators’ key stakeholders, through promoting and marketing Swedish solutions in a customized framework.- Leverage on the recent success of some Swedish ICT companies in signing contracts and position your company as an additional Swedish provider with good reputation among the telecom operators- New sales or add-on sales to the operators in these two countries.
