Within the energy sector, Senegal’s development objective is to reach universal electrification by 2025. The plan is split into two phases; reaching 60% electrification by 2018 in which the government is disbursing 300 MUSD, and reaching universal access by 2030. Several projects are under formulation and execution with this regard, with two main projects (details attached in program outline).
