Becoming competitive in procurements financed by the WB, AFDB and IDB

Are you interested in learning more about how to participate in procurements financed by the World Bank (WB), African Development Bank (AfDB) and Inter-American Development Bank (IDB)? Are you considering this or do you have past experience of this type of procurement? In either case, Business Sweden welcomes you to a seminar giving you an opportunity to meet with representatives from these banks and to secure new and valuable information for your company.

As a step towards increasing the number of Swedish companies that are awarded contracts financed by the development banks Business Sweden, welcomes you to a third seminar aimed at introducing new companies to the development banks as well as deepening the knowledge for companies that have previously been in contact with the development banks. Previous successful seminars with representatives from the WB, AfDB and IDB were held in 2012 and 2013.

The seminar will focus especially on the business sectors transport, infrastructure, energy and environment and health.

The first part of the seminar will include presentations held by the bank representatives, a success case presented by a Swedish company, followed by workshops conducted in different groups of companies based on industry and type of activity.

In the afternoon, there will be an opportunity for companies to have one-on-one meetings with representatives from the banks, Business Sweden and the Ministry for Foreign Affairs. Due to the limited time available and the limited number of representatives, the meetings will be arranged on a first come basis.

The participation fee is SEK 500 excl. VAT.
