Innovative ways to drive productivity in biopharma manufacturing

an image

Lotta Ljungqvist, Board Member of SwedenBIO and President & CEO Nordic Region at GE, gave a keynote speech at BioPlus 2018. This annual event, hosted by KoreaBio at COEX, gathers the Korean life science industry and is a meeting place to discuss potential collaboration between Sweden and South Korea – the two most innovative countries in the world! In her keynote Dr Ljungqvist mentioned the recently opened biopharmaceuticals process development test facility Testa Center as an example of how the Swedish government and industry join forces to facilitate validation of innovation and new technology within life science. Testa Center is open for international clients and Korean companies active within the field of biopharmaceuticals are welcome to apply. It is clear there are many good reasons for Swedish and Korean life science companies to collaborate, learn from each other and together bring much needed treatments and technologies to patients.
