The company currently plays a vital role in areas that are crucial for society, such as energy optimization, environmental protection and food production. The company had approximately 17 500 employees in 2015 and a turnover of 40 billion SEK.
Alfa Laval has been present in the Japanese market since 1925. Despite being fully established in Japan, Alfa Laval felt a need to get a better understanding of its customers’ views of the company and its solutions within key growth segments in the Japanese market. Furthermore, the company was interested in gaining more insight into industry trends as well as a more through outlining of the decision making process at key customers and stakeholder in the targeted industry segments.
Business Sweden helped Alfa Laval get access to key stakeholders in the targeted industries and could secure interviews with stakeholders which would have been very difficult for Alfa Laval to approach directly.
